Considering the present conditions as unfavorable for traveling in Republic of Moldova, the Organizing Committee Iasi-Chisinau has decided that the works of the Conference ModTech2009 will take place in Iasi-Romania, at the same dates.

We ask you to complete the attendance application form (please download from www.modtech.ro) and to send it, until the 5th May, 2009, at the email address: modtech@tcm.tuiasi.ro.

We also ask you to pay the fee in the accounts indicated in Second Call for Papers, until the 10th May, 2009 and send the payment proof. All the papers without fee payment will be not published.

SHORT HISTORY ModTech2009-New face of TMCR

The first edition of the International Conference "Modern Technologies in Machine Manufacturing Technology-TMCM" was organized in 1995. From 1999, since the organizing agreement in common by the Departments of Machine Manufacturing Technologies of the "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iasi, Romania and Technical University of Moldova from Kishinev, the Conference changed its name in "Modern Technologies, Quality, Reorganization-TMCR", which took place each year successively at Iasi and Kishinev. Beginning with present edition, the 13th, the name of the Conference will be "Modern Technologies, Quality and Innovation-ModTech"-New face of TMCR. In the 12 preceding editions there have been published, yearly, over 250 scientific papers in 4-5 volumes with authors over 25 countries from Europe, SUA and Asia.
